When the above surface is combined and adjusted with current temperature forecasts, it is possible to obtain very accurate forecasts of electricity demand. Hybrid's load forecasting models have been incorporated into our suite of pricing tools, as well as a stand-alone module for forecasting load on a short term basis. Hybrid Loadcaster can be customized to forecast power demand for any individual utility, subregion, or region. It can also be modified to import data directly from weather forecasting vendors, or as a tool for forecasting peak load only.
